Tentative Schedule:
Session 1- All Tot, D1, D2, D3, G1-G3, & Rookie D1-D3
7:15-8:15AM Weigh-ins for everyone D3 and under
8:45AM Coaches and officials’ meetings
9:00AM-11:00AM Wrestling for all Tot-D3
Session 2- All D4, D5, G4, G5, & Rookie D4
10:15-11:15 Weigh-ins for second session
12:00PM-Completion Wrestling for second session
Admissions: $6 for adults, $4 for children. Credentialled coaches, registered wrestlers and children under 3 are free.
General Info: Texas USAW sanctioned event. All wrestlers must have current USAW card. Coaches must display proof of USAW copper certification (or better) on lanyard or similar. Headgear not required.
Weigh-in Procedure:
1. Weigh-ins will be conducted wearing a singlet. No weight allowance shall be given for the singlet.
2. Wrestler must make the pre-registered weight. If wrestler misses weight they will be moved accordingly at no charge. Absolutely no weight cutting will be allowed on site!
Divisions and weight classes: Open Tot – D5, Girls G1 – G5, and Rookie D1 – D4. Weight classes (https://txusaw.com/youth-folkstyle-weight-classes-by-division/) may be combined as needed to maximize matches and mat time. Be aware that if you are a heavier D3 that normally gets pushed to D4, this may affect your tournament schedule. Contact us with any questions.
Awards: 1st-4th place medals
Concessions: Breakfast should be available first thing in the morning. Lunch will begin around 11:00AM. Snacks, fruit, and drinks will be available any time. Menu will be posted closer to tournament date.

Early registration $20 ends 11:59PM 10/15. Regular registration $25 ends 11:59PM 10/17. Onsite entries $30. D
Double entries not subject to 15-minute rest rule.
Rules: 3-minute running clock. Clock does not stop for takedowns or out-of-bounds. 2-points for takedowns feet-to-back, 1-point for regular takedowns and push outs. 10-point advantage is tech-fall. No overtime. Tie breaker criteria is most 2-point takedowns, followed by last scored.
